Windows Media Services 9 not Working through Firewall

Asked by jglackey62 in Windows 2003 Server, Enterprise Firewalls

Hello,
I have recently installed Windows Media Services 9 on a web server (Server 2003-IIS 6.0) to capture live media from an encoder running off another server inside the firewall.  Everything works internally but fails outside the firewall.  I have opened all ports that were necessary for the media services (554,5004,5005, 1755, and of course port 80 is open for the web).  I know you can use port 80 for the media services but I would prefer to use the default ports and leave http:80 dedicated for the web.  Has anyone else experienced this issue or might have some things to try?
