Untangle, Dedicated OS Version
Hello,
I currently have Untangle installed on a dedicated machine with 2 NIC's. I have read every tutorial possible but still can not get it setup correctly.
I have my network setup on a 10.1.1.0/24 subnet with the router/gateway being 10.1.1.198 and the Fortigate-60 Firewall running in transparent mode (which actually is only doing SPI, intrusion detection, etc) being 10.1.1.196. The fortigate shouldn't really cause any problem because it is completely pass-through.
I have setup the external NIC with an IP of 10.1.1.194/24 and bridged the second NIC because I just want it to pass through. I'm not looking for Untangle to act as a router, dhcp server, DNS server, etc. I just want to be able to grab usage reports based on IP and possible get into the AV and Web Filtering. The second NIC is plugged directly into our main switch
With this setup, I successfully connect to the internet on the untangle machine but nothing behind it can access any network resources (internet, servers, etc). What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
