The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

microsoft, sbs 2003, 2003 with SP2, ssl certificates with mac and pda

Hello,

since half a year we are running a SBS 2003 with mainly mac clients (OS X 10.5.4). these mac clients are running entourage (office mac 2008) for the mail. when we start the entourage it says in an error message that the root certificate is not properly installed. Up to now we just clicked OK, it went away and everything worked anyway. Also when we used the OWA is complained that the certificate was not OK, we just clicked continue anyway and we could work.
But now one of the managers wants to check his mail with his nokia phone (mail for exchange plugin i think) and he complains that the phone cannot check the mail properly because every time he has to click some OK button to accept the certificate manually.

So this is a good time to solve this problem properly as it should be. I want to buy a ssl certificate online, but I have run into some problems/questions:
our server runs the domain company.be, but when we log in remotely with clients or owa we have to use the address mail.company.be (the actual company.be website is hosted externally)
should I buy a certificate for mail.company.be of for company.be ?
I also noticed that the SBS had created a certificate by itself during installation, but it is not recognised?
Also I can see how an ssl certificate can solve our problem when using owa over https:// but will that certificate also solve the cert.problems we encounter with the nokia phone and the entourage mac clients?

Thank you for you expert views on this one !!
