  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Need to decrypt TripleDES string created from Java platform using ColdFusion

I have a client that is sending me a TripleDES EDE encrypted string using Java

Encrypted String: OvGS9+D6u5PeJlx1itnhOhBVierX85oyAjTkl3LAeFk=
TripeDes EDE Key: wfQjuvuJN496DUUVSSmGMrVYLP7IB4rN

Does anyone know how to decrypt this string using ColdFusion tags either built in or custom?

I've tried the obvious

<cfset temp = '#decrypt("OvGS9+D6u5PeJlx1itnhOhBVierX85oyAjTkl3LAeFk=", "wfQjuvuJN496DUUVSSmGMrVYLP7IB4rN", "DESEDE")#'>

But this produces the error:

There has been an error while trying to encrypt or decrypt your input string: The input and output encodings are not same..  
 
The error occurred in E:\myapp\testone.cfm: line 4
