How to move a bitmap on the screen

Hi,
I have a code that draw a bitmap on the screen. I first load the bitmap and then draw it. I would like to create a scroll effect that the bitmap moves on the horizontal axis. How can I do it without erase re-drawaing the bitmap each time.
