RUBY - uploading data from text file to MYSQL DATABASE

Hello
Trying to load data from text file into MYSQL Database/table.
So far can upload data as per the following script - but no idea how to modify script so as to upload from a text file. Let's assume the text file is as follows - two colums and three rows of data & the file is called "upload_mysql_test.txt"
