The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Perl script to count network connections / parse netstat?

I have a linux (centos) server with multiple IPs on it to use as a proxies... i have an application that will connect to these proxies but I do not want to use a single proxy more than 3 times.

What I am trying to figure out how to do is count the active/established connections per IP/Proxy with perl & netstat. Once I can figure this out, I can just update a database with a current count of active connections so that my application can avoid using a single IP too many times.

My guess is to use perl & parse a netstat to count how many times a specific IP is used & a connection is established. How can I do that?
