I have a template class:

template<class T>
class vector_wrapper
{
      typedef vector<void*> GEN_VECTOR;

public:
      GEN_VECTOR v;                                    GEN_VECTOR::iterator cur_itr;

      vector_wrapper() {};
...
};

My program uses this vector_wrapper class to store pointer to certain classes in the vector. Problem is sometime gcc 2.7 complains that:

abc.o: In function `vector_wrapper<class_abc>::operator=(vector_wrapper<class_abc>
const &)':
abc.o(.text+0x6de2): undefined reference to `vector<void *>::operator=(vector<void *> const &)'

I did not define any copy constructor for vector_wrapper at all, what does this error mean? (class_abc is some other class, I use vector_wrapper<class_abc> class_abc_vector; to store a list of pointers to class_abc)

This problem does not happen with egcs 2.9
