I'm a beginner in OpenGL and C programming... I'm working on a program allows allows value changes via mouse movement (up/down).  

Currently, the motion function is called via a menu in the OpenGL window.   Now, I also need to activate the same motion function via a keyboard shortcut (instead of secting it from the menu).

Below code snippet outline the 2 functions: void keyboard() and void motion().
So, when pressing "m" (or "M") or the keyboard, I want to activate the motion() function.   Right now, I get a compile error on the line >> glutMotionFunc(motion); <<    

Also, I have several case statements in my motion() function (right now I only have >> case SIGXRES <<.

My question:  How can I call the motion function, and the specific case statement, via a keyboard shortcut e.g. clicking "x"?
