The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. How to run the X Window System with no video card?

I've got a nice little Soekris 5501 headless i386 computer with a full standard (except no swap) installation of OpenBSD 4.3 Release installed. I want to run X and connect to it remotely, but startx yields the message in the code snippet.

I've heard of Xvfb, but it seems like I need to change the video driver X is using...
