The Solution Rating System
With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.
Your Input Matters If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support. Thank you! |

bash# cat /etc/nsswitch.conf # # This is the SGI default nsswitch.conf file. This file determines # the maps that will be maintained by nsd, which methods will be # used to lookup information for a map, and what order the methods # are called in. # # For details on this file see the nsswitch.conf(4) manual page. # # After editing this file the nsd daemon must be sent a SIGHUP signal for # it to notice. Do a "killall -HUP nsd". # automount(dynamic): files nis(nis_enumerate_key) #bootparams: files nis capability: files dns clearance: files dns ethers: files dns group: files dns hosts: dns mac: files dns mail(null_extend_key): ndbm(file=/etc/aliases) nis netgroup: dns #netid.byname: nis networks: files dns passwd: files(compat) [notfound=return] nis protocols: nis [success=return] files rpc: files dns services: files dns shadow(mode=0700): files #ypservers: nis bash# |
