The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

How can i set up a PC to think it is a printer and retain all jobs sent to it until reviewed

Hi all

I am trying this question again to see if i can get a better responce from the world

the situation is this

i have a unix box that runs most of the business we have here and it works fine and all is good with it my only problem is that some of the system  really are not though out properly and if i have my software house do the below it will take 6 months and cost a fortune

so the programs is running on the unix box when i make a letter to a customer the prog auto saves the letter to a doc store and remembers where now if i resave the letter the program breaks so change the file location or name is out

I could setup a PDF printer and have every one print to this and give it correct names but this is time consumning from users and some of the docs my system makes are auto generated and only go to a set printer

what i really want is a pice of software that will make a PC act like a printer and accept print jobs and then store them for some one to look at latrer and decide if it needs to be printed or can it be sent vire E-mail cutting down on the amount of paper we use and the postage

does any one know of a app that will do this not bothered about cast at this moment any thing is a start at the momentStart Free Trial
