Asked by dedean01 in Oracle Database, Unix Operating Systems, HP-UX Unix

Is it possible to & if so, what steps if any are needed after restore?

Shutdown the grid repository db
Stop all processes
Run a full server backup
Restore to another server (can possibly be same hostname)
Startup db
Start all processes
     Or
Do you have to do a new install, export/import from existing grid repository db?
