The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. How to install Windows 95 on an XP machine?

I have a DOS program that is working on an old computer running Windows 95.  At some point that computer is going to fail and that will bring big problems so I am trying to bring it to a newer computer.  The computer I have is an XP machine.  I tried running the program in XP and that did not work properly.  I also tried installing 95 in Virtual Machine and using the program that way.  That did not work either.  Now I am trying to dual boot the machine with XP and 95.  I do not want to reinstall XP so I have installed GAG Boot Manager.  I have a 2GB partition formatted in FAT that I would like to put 95 on.  How do I install Windows 95 on that partition?Start Free Trial
