bug in windows operating systems
This is a probably a bug. But I want to make sure it is a bug and have a solution for it. Because my software performance depends on this.
Programs offer open command to open files into program. If multiopen allowed the program can add more than onei file to program interface.
Say, we use Notepad++. It is text editor. It can open multiple files at a time. The problem occurs when the total filename length of the chosen files reach more than almost 1500 characters. Below attached file contains twenty files that contains almost 1900 charters in their filenames. Try to open those twenty files in Notepad++ and you will see nothing happens.
By the way this is not a Notepad++ problem. All windows programs (such as VLC) can't process more than 1500 character's file selections whether they are text or jpeg or avi.
