The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Microsoft, Small Business Server, 2008, Activesync 6.1

I have just carried out a clean install of SBS2008. I have installed 100's of SBS2003 and full Windows/Exchange Systems. No problems with activesync etc in recent years.
However have a weird one that is not critical but so annoying. All our mobile 6.1 devices, (mainly HTC Pro's but also other manufacturers). Do not start syncing automatically as new items arrive unless we kick off a manual sync each day.

Have tried all profile settings for schedules, prefered is for Peak Times 07:00-19:00 Sync Items as arrive and then non-Peak sync items every 2 hours. However have tried all settings to see if there is some kind of time problem. Even with sync all items all the time we still need to do a manual sync in the morning, then works fine all day. No idea, how it works out it must be night time and decides to auto create the above described issue!

Another aspect, possibly a  different question, - we use three exchange clients, mobile, OWA and full. Since changing to 2008 we can delete items on any one of these devices and they still show, hours later in one or more of the other devices. May be related to above but maybe not.

Seems like I certainly have some kind of sync issue. SBS2008 is obviously very new so would be interesting to see if anyone else has experienced these isues.
