Hey.
We are now testing how to Deploy OS in the New SCCM .
But we have a little quistion, that we hope you can help us with.
We are deploying XP to a pc, and calling it PC_test1, and we have inserted the MAC Adress and GUID Number.
But now we want to deploy Vista to this computer, and then put's it in "All unknown computers".
So, how can we Rename the pc, so it no longer is Pc_test1, but Pc_test2, without destroying anything??
And can this happen, and still going on the same MAC and GUID Number?.
We have one time tried to delete the PC, but after that, we could'nt Boot, and we restartet the hole system.
Hope you understand my quistion, and can help me as quickly as possible.
