The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Hi all,

I have a question. A company has a cliënt pc on a sbs2003 server for a cnc machine.
The client is conected to the sbs server for virus checking and updating of the cnc machine software.
However when the cnc machine boots the pc it asks for a username and password.
On the sbs server I made a user called cnc1 and no password. Since there are diffrent people logging on to the cnc machine. They want to do this fast and not having to fill in a password.
Now, They want to be able to boot the machine and unattendly it boots and log's on. Because some people don't know how to log on (or don(t want to) and they company is loosing time.

Is there a way to automatically logon the client to the server??
script or whatecver.

The second thing the company owners would like to see different is. When the computer is login on to the server. It say's enabeling network computer policy getting information from the server to use the server policy settings.

They want a super fast boot on this 1 client. And they ask if there is a change the policy has not to be loaded. Is there a way for this one client to not load the default company policy?? or tips/tricks for super fast boot with domain support.
