lost ethernet connection to my card, on suse linux

SuSE Linux, Linux Networking, Linux Administration

I am using suse 10.3, and after booting it yesterday... I lost the connection to the network card,.
on yast / network card, the card is presented.
Yet, when running ifconfig from terminal I can see only the lo: (loopback) connection.

How can I fix that?
