Hi,
1) I need to install nvidia sound drivers. the command is sh NFORCE-Linux-x86_64-1[1].0
-0311-pkg1
.run. the result is
nforce-installer log file '/var/log/nvidia-nforce-in

ERROR:
If you are using a Linux 2.4 kernel, please make sure
you either have configured kernel sources matching your
kernel or the correct set of kernel headers installed
on your system.
If you are using a Linux 2.6 kernel, please make sure
you have configured kernel sources matching your kernel
installed on your system. If you specified a separate
output directory using either the "KBUILD_OUTPUT" or
the "O" KBUILD parameter, make sure to specify this
directory with the SYSOUT environment variable or with
the appropriate nvidia-installer command line option.
ERROR: Installation of the audio driver has failed. Please see the file
'/var/log/nvidia-nforce-in
staller.lo
g' for details. You may find
suggestions on fixing installation problems in the README available on
the Linux driver download page at
www.nvidia.com.
2) the command rpm -qa | grep kernel returns
linux-kernel-headers-2.6.2
5-8.1
kernel-default-2.6.25.5-1.
1
kernel-source-2.6.25.5-1.1
In this, I observe that linux-kernel-headers value is not the same as the kernel-default or kernel-source
How may I find satisfaction and be happy in making this run to hear sound from linux 11suse.
Brgds,
kNish
