Arrow keys do not work in freenx

FreeNx, freenx server, On ubuntu ibex, Works like a charm except
Using freenx to access remote virtual machines but the arrow keys do not work at all.
Up arrow calls print screen but that was easily altered but the keycodes are wrong.
Any assistance gratefully received.
