We have recurring daily Kerberos errors in the System Event Viewer on our Secondary Domain Controller. These same errors stopped in our Primary Domain Controller when they started in our seconday back in May of this year. See all three attached .JPG's
The typical error in the System Event reads:
"The kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED error from the server computer1-D$. The target name used was cifs/computer2.domainname.
local. This indicates that the password used to encrypt the kerberos service ticket is different than that on the target server. Commonly, this is due to identically named machine accounts in the target realm (Domainname.LOCAL), and the client realm. Please contact your system administrator."
I have checked and I cannot find any "identically named machine accounts in the target realm (domainname.LOCAL), and the client realm."
