Asked by steve_newton in MS SharePoint, SBS Small Business Server
I have a vanilla SBS 2008 installed with all of the Sharepoint sites.
I have then installed an application/virtual directory testing under the CompanyWeb site.
The application is a direct copy of one I've used before on SBS2003 so I know it works.
When I try to surf to the virtual directory
http://companyweb/testing I get a 500 error.
In SBS 2003 I'd go through the Sharepoint Central Administration and add testing as a managed path to the companyweb site.
However in SBS 2008 the Sharepoint 3.0 Central Administration only allows me to add managed paths on the
https://Remote.domain.com:987/ external site or
http://domain-sbs:4721/ central admin site. I can't select the companyweb site to add managed paths to.
Can anyone please tell me how I can enable internal user to surf to
http://companyweb/testingThanks.
