We have a Hourly transaction Log Backup and if I look at the log viewer history we have nothing but ticks for successful. However, every hour we get an email notification to say it has failed.
I do not know which one to believe if the server were to crash and they have indeed failed then I will have lost the whole days data not just the last hours.
Does any one know what the problem may be?
I have checked the location the log files are being created in and they do get created so I am confused
