Connecting Excel to SQlite DB

Hello,

I am wanting to connect an Excel worksheet to an SQlite database which will act as a front end. I want a user to be able to input a date value with Excel returning all data corresponding to that date.

I'm guessing i need to use the sqlite ODBC driver but I wouldn't have a clue where to start. Can anyone supply me with some code examples or point me in the right direction?
